La mia storia

It was 2015, I was 21 years old and I didn't know what I wanted to do in life. It was always an important unknown in my adolescence, but thanks to this I trained in different fields.

I knew then that I liked furniture and crafts. And after not having entered the University of Design and Arts in Bolzano, here I am, making furniture. I attended a carpentry and furniture restoration course.

There I realized I had a path already marked and it wasn't the one with the furniture. During the course, I started creating wooden jewelry. They were very popular, so I tried my hand at jewelry design. They had admitted me to a specialization course at the Polytechnic. I felt it, I had finally found my way. I was wrong.

I had a knack for hand drawing and 3D drawing but there were few job opportunities and I lacked the 'know-how'. My training at the Ambrosiana Goldsmith School in Milan was a turning point that allowed me to find work in a goldsmith's shop.

My thirst for learning led me to continue my training as a goldsmith at Le Arti Orafe in Florence, which I attended for two years thanks to a scholarship.

It's 2021 and I still don't have clear ideas yet. So I go back to working as a goldsmith but the idea of ​​opening my own business is overwhelming. And at the end of 2023 I dropped everything and Morellini Lab was officially born.
